A Quick Jaunt to San Francisco
August 4, 2009
Taza Chocolate is coming to the Bay Area this weekend, August 6th - 11th 2009! I'll be visiting San Francisco from Thursday through Monday, conducting tastings, visiting customers, and generally leaving prodigious amounts of chocolate in my wake.
Please use the comments of this post to let us know about your favorite places to buy and snack on chocolate in SF. Do you go to Fog City News for their curated chocolate selection, or Bittersweet Cafe for their broad range of offerings? Or do you enjoy your chocolate in the cafe at Blue Bottle Coffee or maybe in dessert at a favorite restaurant... However you indulge, let us know in the comments, and we'll make sure to check out your favs while we're there.
I'll also be doing three chocolate tastings and demos at different spots in and around the Mission District:

The Rainbow Grocery is San Francisco's premier food coop. Their goals include providing affordable vegetarian food products which have minimal negative impact ecologically and socially; and buying goods from local organic farmers, collectives, bakers, dairies and other local businesses whenever possible.
