Directions:

Taza Chocolate is located at 561 Windsor St in Somerville, MA (02143). Our factory is situated in a large brick building at the intersection of Windsor Place and Windsor St. Enter through the double glass doors in the center of the building.

Public Transportation:

By bus...

The #69 bus, which runs between Lechmere and Harvard Square along Cambridge Street, stops at the intersection of Windsor St and Cambridge St, about 2 blocks from Taza. If you aren’t sure where Windsor St is, look for the Shell gas station on the north side of the street.

In addition, the #83, #86, #87, and #91 buses all stop within walking distance of Taza Chocolate. Consult an MBTA bus map or schedule for details.

By subway:

The closest T subway stop is Central Square, on the Red Line - about a 20 minute walk away from Taza. To reach the factory, find the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Prospect St – look for the Starbucks. Head north on Prospect St until you hit Cambridge St. Make a right on Cambridge St, and then take the next left onto Tremont St. Follow Tremont St until you reach Webster St, and cross over to Columbia St (look for the Royal Hospitality building). Columbia St will fork, and you’ll want to bear left. Our factory is just after the fork on the right side of the street.

Driving:

The Taza Chocolate factory is readily accessible from all major traffic arteries in and around the Cambridge / Somerville / Boston area. Free parking is available catercorner to our factory location at 561 Windsor St in Somerville.

From Mass Pike (eastbound)

Take the Allston/Cambridge exit, and follow the signs for Cambridge. Exit out at the River Street bridge, and cross over the Charles River into Cambridge on River St. Continue straight on River St, following it all the way into Central Square. Continue straight across Massachusetts Ave onto Prospect St. Proceed past Harvard, Broadway and Hampshire Streets, and then make a right onto Cambridge St. Drive approximately five blocks and make a left onto Windsor St (just past the Shell gas station). Follow it as it twists through the scrap yards and turn right when the street ends. Park in the lot marked “561 Windsor St”.

From Storrow Drive (either direction)

Exit at River St (if coming from East) or Western Ave (if coming from West) and turn on River St towards Central Square, Cambridge. Take the bridge over the Charles River. Continue on River St to Central Sq, straight across Massachusetts Ave onto Prospect St. Proceed past Harvard, Broadway and Hampshire Streets, and then make a right onto Cambridge St. Drive approximately five blocks and make a left onto Windsor St (just past the Shell gas station). Follow it as it twists through the scrap yards and turn right when the street ends. Park in the lot marked “561 Windsor St”.

From Route 93

Take Exit 26 for Storrow Drive, following signs for Cambridge/Rte 28. Take 28 North past the Science Museum. After lights at Land Blvd, stick to the left. At fork, take the left side, which is Cambridge St. Follow Cambridge St. for about a mile. Make a right onto Windsor St. (just before the Shell gas station). Follow it as it twists through the scrap yards and turn right when the street ends. Park in the lot marked “561 Windsor St”.

From Rte. 1

Off the Tobin, take the Somerville/93 exit and head left onto Rte 99. Take the next left onto Austin, then Charlestown Ave, which will take you to Rte. 28/O'Brien Hwy. Turn right at 28, then take the left fork onto Cambridge Street. Follow Cambridge St. for about a mile. Make a right onto Windsor St. (just before the Shell gas station). Follow it as it twists through the scrap yards and turn right when the street ends. Park in the lot marked “561 Windsor St”.
