Help Us Help Haiti with a Donation to Partners In Health

Since the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti's capital city four days ago, we at Taza have been looking for the best way to help the relief efforts in Haiti. One of our suppliers in the Dominican Republic sent two trucks with food and supplies across the border into Haiti, but the team here at Taza wanted to do something more. We asked many of you for recommendations of legitimate non-profits, charities, NGOs, and relief organizations to which to donate. The most frequent suggestion was Partners In Health, a Boston-based organization which has been on the ground working in Haiti for over 20 years.

Starting today, and running through January 22nd 2010, Taza Chocolate will donate half of the retail value of all chocolate sales through our website to Partners In Health. That's a pledge of $.50 of every dollar of chocolate sold at TazaChocolate.com. Help us make this a significant donation to the relief effort in Haiti. Our thoughts and prayers are with all Haitians right now.
