At Taza Chocolate, we take pride in supporting organizations that strengthen our community and the communities of the men and women that grow our food.

If you would like Taza to donate to your cause, please take a moment to read our donation guidelines. If you believe your organization qualifies for our support, please email us at donations@tazachocolate.com with a donation request. We’ll review it according to the guidelines set out below, and contact you if we can help.

How to Apply for a Donation

We support organizations whose focus is on education, the arts, community building, or sustainable agriculture. Please note that we do not sponsor individuals or religious programs. Your organization must be registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Chocolate Donations

Taza Chocolate makes the bulk of its charitable donations in the form of chocolate. We give preferential attention to local requests and to organizations committed to four objectives listed above. Taza kindly requests a minimum of four weeks notice to process your request. We review donation requests for Taza Chocolate products on a quarterly basis: On October 15th, January 15th, April15th, and July 15th.

We will confirm the receipt of all donation requests by email within 10 business days. We’ll also let you know whether or not we’ll be considering a donation to your organization, and when you can expect a response (e.g. the next quarterly review date).

You may submit your request by email only to donations@tazachocolate.com. No phone calls, please.

Cash Donations

At this time, Taza Chocolate is not accepting any requests for cash donations. Any changes to this policy will be indicated here.

Sponsorships & Advertising Opportunities

Sponsorship & advertising opportunities will be evaluated on a quarterly basis: On October 15th, January 15th, April15th, and July 15th. In order for your request for sponsorship to be considered, it must be submitted at least four weeks in advance of the sponsorship opportunity, and the event must occur before the quarterly evaluation. If you missed the window for your event this year, please try us again next year.

You may apply for sponsorship & advertising by submitting a request to sponsorship@tazachocolate.com. We receive many more requests for sponsorship than we could possibly honor. Be advised that we will not respond to every request. Organizations whose requests have been flagged for quarterly review will be contacted within 10 business days. No phone calls, please.
