The Taza Chocolate factory is located in Somerville, MA 02143. All orders ship from this location.
For Shipping Destinations in the US:
Orders placed on our website before 3pm will generally be shipped on the same day. Orders placed after 3pm or over the weekend will ship on the next business day.
Orders shipping UPS® Ground typically reach their destination in 1 to 6 business days. See the map below for estimated ship times.
The default shipping method is UPS® Ground, unless otherwise noted. For faster delivery, we offer expedited shipping options, including overnight shipping (UPS® Next Day Air Saver), at additional cost. Please remember to specify your preferred delivery method during checkout.
UPS® makes deliveries Monday through Friday to businesses from 9 AM and 5 PM and to residences from 9 AM and 7 PM. No deliveries are made on legal holidays.
Saturday delivery is available for an additional fee. To request Saturday delivery, please call Taza at (617) 623-0804 before placing your order online.
Taza Chocolate cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
For Local Deliveries and Factory Pick-Ups:
Taza Chocolate is committed to reducing our consumption of non-renewable resources. So we’re proud to offer bike delivery to retail customers in Cambridge and Somerville. For only $8, your order will be delivered by Taza or Metro Pedal Power within 1 to 2 days, weather permitting. Make sure to select Bicycle Delivery as your shipping method during checkout.

Factory Pick-Up is available for local customers at no charge. Orders may be picked up Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, except on legal holidays. Make sure to select Factory Pick-Up as your shipping method during checkout. We require one business day to prepare your order and kindly request that you call us before coming to our factory to ensure that your order is ready. We can be reached at (617) 623-0804.
For Canadian and Other International Orders:
For international deliveries, make sure to select International Parcel Post as your shipping method during checkout. We use USPS International Parcel Post to ship to foreign addresses. Shipping costs and transit times can vary considerably. Typically, shipments to Canada arrive in 6 to 10 business days. Shipments to Europe can take anywhere from 10 to 21 business days, or more. Chocolate and Warm Weather:
Chocolate is easily damaged by excessive heat and sunlight. We take every precaution to insure the integrity of your shipment. When shipping chocolate to destinations with temperatures over 70ºF on average, we will frequently include an ice pack and insulation. We also strongly recommend shipping your chocolate to an address where someone is available to receive it. We cannot be responsible for melted shipments left by UPS without a signature.
During the summer months, we may delay shipment to decrease transit time, or expedite shipment for an additional charge.
