The Taza Chocolate Factory Store has a number of ways to keep your season warm and bright! December has a slew of activities to help you get through your gift shopping and sweeten your holiday:
- Need to make last-minute holiday shopping fun? Come to the Taza Factory on Thursday,December 21st for our Sip & Shop! We're staying open late - til 7:30pm - and serving up sweet deals alongside our delicious hot chocolate to warm you up while you wrap up your shopping!
- If you're looking for a hands-on experience for the family, bring the little ones to the Taza Chocolate Factory for a special reading of Grandma's Chocolate//El Chocolate de mi Abuelita by Mara Price - the charming bilingual picture book that depicts a loving relationship between grandmother and granddaughter and shares the history and customs of the native peoples of Mexico. After storytelling, we'll teach you how to make Mexican-style hot chocolate using traditional ollas and molinillos. Don't know what those are? Come to find out and we will even send you home with a Chocolate Mexicano Disc to make your hot chocolate at home!
This activity is intended for children 6-12 years old. 1 adult for every 2 children, please.
