July 9, 2020 at 6pm
Join us for a Virtual Taza Chocolate Tour on July 9th at 6pm while helping fight racial injustice, inequality, and police brutality against Black people. 100% of proceeds from this Virtual Tour will support Violence in Boston, an organization that works directly with those affected, and will help further their goal of creating safer, healthier, and empowered Black and Brown communities.
Violence in Boston's mission is to improve the quality of life & life outcomes of individuals from disenfranchised communities by reducing the prevalence of violence and the impact of associated trauma. Their Social Impact Center was established to prevent and reduce the impact of violence by addressing immediate and basic needs: housing, food, clothing, and public safety for the disenfranchised residents of the City of Boston.
During this one-hour Virtual Tour, our expert Factory Store team will take you through our entire bean-to-bar chocolate making process. You'll learn about Taza’s history, the growth and harvesting of cacao, Direct Trade sourcing, and what happens at our Somerville factory. We’ll share videos of our roasting room, grinding and depositing rooms, and packaging systems just as if you were there!
Tickets start at $10. Additional donation options are available if you would like to make a larger donation (and get a thank you bonus from Taza). Whichever ticket you choose, the entire ticket price will go to Violence in Boston.
Book your tickets below. We hope to see you there!
