5 1/2 cups oats
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup safflower oil
1/3 cup honey
3 Tbl sesame seeds
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts or pecans
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup coconut 1/3 cup
Taza Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs
1. Chop/grind the nibs in a food processor till they are like very coarse ground coffee. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the oil and honey together, then pour it on the dry ingredients. Mix well.
2. Pour into a flat baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F till it starts to brown. Stir while baking once or twice so it cooks evenly. About 20 - 25 minutes. Cool, mix in Taza Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs, and store in sealed container.
3. Excellent served with plain yogurt, with or without fruit, mixed into topping for Apple Crunch, etc.
