A perfect hot weather version of one of our favorite treats – this rich chocolate milk is blended with ice to make a cooling dessert or afternoon indulgence.
1 Taza 60% Dominican Stone Ground Chocolate Bar, chopped
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar
3 cups ice
1. In a saucepan combine chocolate, whole milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, and sugar and place over medium heat , stirring frequently, until chocolate is melted and all ingredients are fully combined.
2. Place chocolate mixture and ice in a blender and process until smooth. Serve garnished with shaved chocolate.
