Chocolate and Warm Weather:
Chocolate is easily damaged by excessive heat and sunlight. We take every precaution to ensure the integrity of your shipment. Please note when shipping chocolate to destinations with temperatures over 70ºF, we may delay your shipment in order to decrease transit time, or require you to select an expedited shipping option for an additional charge. We will include an ice pack and insulation to prevent melting during transit. We recommend shipping your chocolate to an address where someone is available to receive it in a timely fashion in order to avoid any damage.
During the warmer months, we may delay shipment to decrease transit time, or expedite shipment for an additional charge. Shipments in the 4+ day shipping areas typically ship out Monday-Wednesday during this time.
For Shipping Destinations in the US:
We currently only ship to continental US, Hawaii and Alaska. Orders placed on our website before 10am will generally be shipped on the same day. Orders placed after 10am or over the weekend will ship on the next business day unless an order is held for warm weather.
FedEx makes home deliveries Tuesday through Saturday to residential addresses from 9 AM to 7 PM. No deliveries are made on legal holidays. Orders shipping FedEx Ground typically reach their destination in 1 to 7 business days. For information about transit times to your area please visit the FedEx site here.
The default shipping method is FedEx Ground, unless otherwise noted. For faster delivery, we offer expedited shipping options, including overnight shipping, at additional cost. Please remember to specify your preferred delivery method during checkout.
Factory Store Pick-Ups:
Factory Pick-Up is available for local customers at no charge. Orders may be picked up at the Factory Store (561 Windsor Street, Somerville, MA 02143) whenever it's open. Click here for store hours. Make sure to select Factory Pick-Up as your shipping method during checkout. We require one business day to prepare your order and kindly request that you call us before coming to our factory to ensure that your order is ready. We can be reached at (617) 623-0804.
At this time, we are only able to ship to destinations in the United States. We do not ship internationally. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to find Taza at a store near you!
If you are ordering from another country for shipment to an address in the United States, please note that we only accept credit cards that support AVS (address verification system). Many banks outside the United States do not issue cards that support AVS; please contact your bank to verify AVS support on your credit card.
