Mexican Style Coffee

Part dessert, and part cocktail! This simple combination of bold flavors is a perfect winter warmer, and will have your holiday guests clamoring for another cup. If you’d like to add another layer of flavor, try using our Cinnamon Disc instead of Vanilla, or for those who like it spicy, give our Guajillo Disc a try. It’s worth going the extra mile and using Milagro’s agave-forward tequila – it’s an unexpected but amazing accompaniment to our bold, rustic chocolate. 

Mexican Style Coffee

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1 disc (1/2 package) Taza Vanilla Chocolate Disc, grated
1 cup hot brewed coffee
1 oz Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Silver
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream, to garnish
Grated chocolate, to garnish

To Prepare:

Place grated chocolate in a mug and pour hot coffee over chocolate. Stir until chocolate has dissolved into the coffee, then add tequila followed by ice cream. Top with whipped cream and additional hot chocolate and enjoy.
