These playful parfaits let you take a decadent dessert “to go”. They can be a special treat tucked into your packed work lunch, but also feel indulgent enough to bring on a luxurious picnic. Using jars gives you the freedom to assemble your parfait, then screw on the lid and take it with you anywhere. These parfaits can be assembled a day (or even two) in advance.
Makes 4 servings
2 Taza Dominican 70% Dark Stone Ground Bars, chopped
1/2 cup cream
1. Combine chocolate and cream in a small saucepan and place over low heat, stirring often until melted. Keep warm until ready to use.
Peanut Butter Layer:
Ingredients:1/2 cup peanut butter
2 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons milk
pinch of salt
1. In a bowl mix together peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar, milk, and pinch of salt until smooth.
4- six ounce jars
2 cup crushed oatmeal cookies
Taza Chocolate Covered Nibs, for garnish
1. Divide half the crushed cookies between the jars, top with half the peanut butter mixture, and half the chocolate. Repeat with remaining ingredients and top with Taza Chocolate Covered Nibs.
