No campfire? No problem! Get all the deliciousness of s’mores in this simple pie. If you’re not a fan of last minute preparations, broil the marshmallows before your guests arrive and let the pie sit on the counter until you’re ready to dig in.
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 Taza Dominican 70% Dark Stone Ground Chocolate Bar
1 pre-made nine-inch graham cracker pie crust (or 6 mini 3.5 inch graham cracker pie crusts)
8 ounces marshmallows
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat combine the heavy cream and chocolate and stir often until melted and evenly combined. Let cool slightly, then pour into graham cracker crust. Press marshmallows into chocolate and let sit in the refrigerator for at least two hours, or up to overnight.
2. Place oven rack in closest position to broiler and heat broiler on high. When ready, place the pie under the broiler and toast until marshmallows are golden brown, watching carefully – this will happen very quickly. Depending on your oven, you may want to rotate the pie during the broiling time, for even browning. Allow pie to cool slightly, then serve.
