FACTORY TOURS ARE BACK!
We are so happy to announce that our Factory Store will be open for in-store shopping as of Wednesday, July 14th. We’ll be open Wednesday - Friday 11am - 6pm and Weekends 10am - 6pm. We are asking all visitors to the Taza Chocolate Factory Store to wear a mask.
We’re working on updating our Factory Tour Experience but in the meantime, we are offering a sweet deal: 25% off our current in-person tours.
We will continue to host our Virtual Tours and Tastings that are perfect for both individuals and private groups! Learn how to bring the Factory Tour Experience to your home or team here.
At Taza, we make stone ground chocolate. Why stone ground? Because bolder is better! We grind cacao beans using hand-carved granite millstones. The result? Chocolate with bold flavor and satisfyingly gritty texture unlike anything you've ever tasted!
Join us at the factory for an Intro to Stone Ground Chocolate, a brief talk and chocolate tasting tour offered at our factory Wednesday - Sunday. The cost is $12 per person. Online reservations are required, and may be made for a maximum of 10 people.
Families with children under 10 years old are encouraged to visit us for our Kids Tour hosted at 10am on Saturdays and Sundays. Space is limited so we recommend reserving your spot in advance.
Visitors will be able to view our chocolate grinding and depositing rooms from our factory store. While we cannot guarantee you'll see chocolate being made during your visit, our awesome team of Chocolate Guides will be on hand to answer your questions and sample lots of stone ground chocolate with you! Please note in accordance with new food safety regulations, we are unable to enter chocolate-making spaces with our guests.
If you have any questions about our Tour Experience, please reach out to us directly at email@example.com!
SEE HOW WE MAKE CHOCOLATE
At the Taza Chocolate Factory in Somerville, Mass, we craft stone ground chocolate from bean to bar. Fueled by our passion for Mexican chocolate traditions, we hand-carve granite millstones to grind cacao into rustic, organic dark chocolate that bursts with bright, bold flavor and texture.
